Advantame

Neotame is a non-caloric artificial sweetener derived from Aspartame with a taste very near to sugar.

It is used to substitute sucrose in low calorie products. Neotame is 7, 000 –  13, 000 times sweeter than sucrose, and 30 – 60 times sweeter than aspartame.

• High sweetness, low Calorie: Sweetness is 7000-13000 times that of sucrose. Zero calories, suitable for diabetics.
• Low cost: The cost of use is lower than that of aspartame. In beverage products, neotame can replace 20% of nutritional sweeteners or high-intensity sweeteners.
• High solubility: Solubility in water at room temperature (25°C) is 12.6 g/L, and solubility in ethanol is 950 g/L.
• Safe and stable: Very stable under dry or acidic conditions (better than aspartame). Suitable for all people including children and pregnant women.
• Improve avor: It can maintain or even improve good flavors such as sweetness, saltiness, and sourness, while reducing and masking bad flavors , such as bitterness and astringency.

Advantame (N-[N-【3-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)propyl】-L-a-aspartyl]-L-phenylalanine- 1-methyl ester) It is a high intensity sweetener that is 20, 000 times sweeter than sucrose. It is

the sweetest sweetener developed so far and can be used in a variety of foods as a sweetener and  flavor enhancer.

• In May 2014, the US FDA approved Advantame to be used in foodandbeverages.
• In May 2014, the European Commission issued Regulation(EU)No. 498/2014 on the use of Advantame as a sweetener.
• Use according to GB2760-2024 Food Additive Usage Standards and relevant announcementsfrom the National Health and Family Planning Commission.
